Piner PTA is hosting a fun run. Our theme is Journey to OZ.
Our goal is to raise $9,000 as a school to purchase Chrome books for students, Paradise Snowcones for every student & Field Day T-shirts.
Fun Run information
In March, your students will start lesson at school around our theme, Journey to Oz. They will learn about the classic story as well as lessons on Courage, Knowledge and Determination.
The day of the fun run, we will be running 25 laps in the gym similar to last year. This year we will have the gym decorated like different scenes from the Wizard of Oz. We welcome you to join us on race day to cheer on the kids. A schedule that outlines tentative run times will be sent home closer to the run via Class Dojo. Please keep in mind, that we will try to adhere to the schedule as closely as possible. However, times made have to be adjusted to according to class needs.
Donations will be accepted via cash, check or online from March 20th- April 2nd. All donations are considered flat and will NOT be per lap.

Piner PTA is looking for corporate sponsorship for our Journey to Oz Fun Run. If you or someone in your family works for or owns a Company that would be interested in investing in our school please share this sponsorship form with them. Each Company will appear on the back of every Field Day T-shirt. The School and the PTA will promote your business on our Facebook and during the Fun Run. Your donation will ensure that the children at Piner Elementary School will receive new technology for each grade.
